From the earliest years of the 20th century, postcards have been used by summer vacationers as an inexpensive way to share stories of the sights of the southern Jersey shore with friends and family back home. These cards paint a rich picture of the people who visited as well as present a timeline of Ocean City's development and history through the years.

This postcard album includes cards collected by Jim Boice. When this online album is completed, there will be cards from these major OCNJ postcard areas: the modes of transportation to and within OCNJ, town and street views, restaurants, hotels, the bay area, the beach, the boardwalk, and cards of a very special nature.

If you have a favorite postcard that you would like to see included in this collection, please contact Jim at ocnjim@hotmail.com.
