Since its founding in 1964, the Museum has relied on the support of its members and donors in order to preserve and present the history of Ocean City, and provide educational and cultural programs year-round. Memberships and donations directly support the museum’s mission to educate, delight and inspire its visitors with the story of Ocean City’s past.

Donating to the collections

Do you have an object, photograph or document that you think the Museum would be interested in adding to its collections? Please send an email with as much information about the item and its history as possible to info@ocnjmuseum.org. Please include a photograph. A committee will review the item before accepting the donation.

The acquisition of materials for the Museum is an important part of our job to preserve the history of Ocean City. Most of the items and photographs you see in the Museum were gifts from donors like you. Thank you for your interest!
